Reporting and blocking

Reporting a post

  1. Open the post
  2. Tap in the top-right corner
  3. Select Report
  4. Choose a reason: harassment, hate speech, sexual content, spam, or other

Reports are reviewed by Orbit's trust and safety team, typically within 24 hours. You won't be notified of the outcome in most cases, but action will be taken if the content violates our guidelines.

Reporting is anonymous. The person you report will not know you filed a report.

Reporting a user

Go to the person's profile (tap their name or avatar on any post), tap , and select Report User.

Blocking someone

Blocking prevents a person from seeing your posts and prevents them from adding you to groups.

To block: 1. Go to their profile 2. Tap ⋯ → Block

Blocked users are not notified. You can unblock at any time from Settings → Blocked Users.

If you block someone who is in a shared group with you, they will remain in the group but will not be able to see your posts or interact with you.

Leaving a group due to harassment

If you're experiencing harassment within a group and don't want to leave, contact support at support@orbit.org. We can review the situation and take action on your behalf without requiring you to leave.
